New York Deli; Review: A Taste of New York in Collge Park!

I recently got a "behind the scenes" peek at the New York Deli in College Park. Opened in 1995, The New York Deli has made it through the economic crisis, and they are still running strong. Mainly due to their basic principal: providing high quality service and customer satisfaction.

Located on Edgewood Rd, this sandwich shop is a convenient hotspot for sub lovers. Their newly extended hours of  9am to 8pm on weekdays has made it possible for the owner, Ashleigh, to introduce the new breakfast menu. You can find home-style potatoes, Over-stuffed omelets, and traditional bagels.

I found this restaurant to be very different from the other sub shops I have visited. They have Kosher meats, like corned beef ands pastrami, as well as triple-decker's, stuffed with bacon, turkey, and other meats. They don not skimp on the meat- as so many other places do- it is truly New York Style.

Perhaps the most intriguing aspect of the deli is the owner's dedication to customer AND employee satisfaction. The employees are like a close family- they care about each other- which gives them a step up on the competition. Don't forget the NO MINIMUM delivery charge- how often do you see that?!
