Sewing for Beginners!

Hey hey, Ladies and Gents!
I've been getting obsessed with sewing now that my studio has 2 sewing machines and a mannequin named "Susie". She's just visiting; she'll be home with Madame Starlett soon enough!

I've been sewing my own pieces- shirts, skirts, dresses, and so on; without using any patterns.

Opened up my first sewing pattern (Vintage, of course) and had no idea HOW to go about starting it. I don't know if it was because the pattern was from the 60's, or because I have gotten used to just going at it!

So I found a wonderful FREE site for Sewing (for beginners, seasoned veterans, and everywhere in between). It walks you through everything step-by-step.

Check it out, and get addicted!

I keep forgetting to show you how to use patterns lol.....you have learned to make your own though, so they are just one less step hahaha. though, I like making my own patterns because it seems more like it's my own design. just remember, even famous designers use already made patterns.
